This Week!

This week has been a first of many for us! We went from 5 daycare kids to just 2! It has been a nice slow down and at just the right time. We have spent our week actually leaving the house with two different trips to parks and a trip to the Zoo today! It's been so fun to get out and enjoy the summer but the heat has also been killer. Numerous days this week have been over 100 degrees, now that's HOT. It's also Hayden's first full week WITHOUT naps! I know know! CRAZY! But he is almost 3 1/2 and has been fighting bedtime and I wanted him to be well adjusted with his new type of QUIET time that he still has everyday before the baby came. He is doing pretty well and goes to bed earlier and alot easier. We have also missed our daddy like crazy. He has been working out of town all week since Sunday. We can't wait to go get him tomorrow night at the airport. A week without him is a long time especially when doing yard work! It's getting harder each week to mow the backyard with the heat increasing and my SIZE increasing it's quit the challenge. The weekend is approaching and we are just going to enjoy our daddy being home and go fishing. Hope everyone else has fun plans as well. ENJOY

Hayden & his cute little buddy Paige (AKA: Also our neighbors)

This little guy squirted a little most out and just the right amount that the kids loved him

Relax as the side man

Now taking charge and driving the jeep. He had fun pretending to drive it.

HELLO!

Feeding the goats! One of Hayden's FAVORITE things to do at the Zoo

Our friends Paige & her mommy Allie! Ohhh and lil miss Tenley in the stroller

Walking in the JUNGLE

The 3 Amigos! They had so much fun! Hayden the only one not SMILING. He was getting a little tired and hot at this point. It was his first time walking the whole zoo. He normally rides in the stroller

My least favorite part! I almost didn't let him touch it but the attendant guy was calm and all the other kids where doing is SAFELY. So sure, why not!

SSSSSSSSSNAKE. . . .

We spent about an hour and a half walking around the zoo and then had a little picnic outside the zoo on the grass before heading home. It was a great way to spend a Thursday morning!
