We took Hayden to the Melba parade again this year. This will be our second year going. It's always super busy with people for being such a small town but we still seem to enjoy ourselves. We also saw a handful of people we actually recognized this year from our ward, yeaaaaa! We had good spots this year and no complaints about our fellow lawn chair parade spectators this time around compared to Meridian days :o) As always Hayden got himself a little anxious for what was to follow the parade. . . . He knew he got to ride the train again this year too because I will admit I had been kind of bribing him the day before that if he behaved then he could ride the train. He made it through the parade and then we rushed off to get a super big corn dog for Jon & I to share, a Pepsi, and a regular hot dog for Hayden. We plopped our chairs down in the middle of the big grassy field and ate. We then walked the booths trying to find Hayden a cowboy hat like papa's but didn't have much luck but we are determined to find him one. Then we excitedly headed towards the kid area. Hayden had a blast riding the train, going down the slide, and jumping in the bounce house. By this time we were all getting hot & tired. We headed back towards the food booths one more time to share some mini tacos from a yummy Mexican restaurant in Kuna that had a little food stand. We shared our tacos and headed for the car to go home. Until next year Melba!
We always get to parades early to get good spots and to try and not be over crowded. Here's Hayden playing with his LIZARDS while waiting.
Seeing how far he can stretch it

The beginning of the parade. . . All the bikes & flags
Surprise! Another picture of Hayden at a parade with his ears covered. He hates the nosies and sirens!
The BIG grandma chair
A couple of the kewl old cars
Hayden said "Wow, it's a monster truck!" I thought this one was funny because we use to have a old red van when I was a kid but ours wasn't jacked up with big tires.
These horses where kewl. Not sure what they where doing but it looked like they where skipping/dancing
This float reminded me of Jon and his siblings (Jon is a triplet) It was so cute to see all the twins
Hayden on all the little kid ride and games but his favorite is always this little TRAIN
